Biography
Jamie, born in Kansas and raised in Texas, has been playing piano and singing since age 3. Rooted and grounded in the Word of God, she has devoted her life to furthering His kingdom. Jamie has known the call of God on her life since the early age of 12. Her talents and gifts go beyond the natural as she carries a strong and powerful anointing that stirs hearts and lives to a deeper level of intimacy with Jesus Christ. The Lord has given her a hunger to know Him and a passion to sing forth His praise as a sweet aroma of worship unto His throne.
It doesnt matter who the worship leader is or who is playing what instrument. A phenomenal worship experience comes down to the worshippers heart and how hungry one is for a deeper revelation of who God is!
She is a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute, where she received formal ministerial training with her main emphasis on music and missions. This is where her passion for worship grew as she began to further her skills in playing piano, singing and songwriting. As a student, she took part by singing on the worship teams for many of the chapel services, as well as, their annual worship recordings. She also traveled nationally and internationally several summers with CFNI's 'Living Praise' - a music ministry group. Since that time, she has continued to minister and lead worship with various church choirs, worship teams, and conferences throughout the states and has always taken a very active part in assisting with womens ministries.
In May of 2000 she married her wonderful, fun-loving husband, Freddy Bollinger. They reside in Atlanta, GA. With his full support, Jamie has continued to minister in various capacities. She is the founder of Reckless Abandon Ministries (2003); a versatile, multi-styled praise and worship ministry whose goal is to bridge across denominational lines, reaching nations all over the world, bringing hope to the hopeless and freedom to the captives. She has also served as a Worship Leader for Gwinnett Vineyard Church located in Buford, GA for seven years. In 2007, Freddy and Jamie heeded the call to become members and an active part of Free Chapel in Gainesville, GA under the leadership of Pastor Jentezen Franklin. They are both involved in the music ministry there, where Jamie also serves in various leadership capacities.
Living in todays uncertainty, Jamies heart is to encourage a life style of intimate worship and relationship with Jesus Christ.
No matter what circumstances surround us, Jesus Christ; HIS Faithfulness and Love is the ONLY thing that remains constant. He desires for us to come and drink from the fountain that will NEVER run dry!
She has a strong desire to see both men and women healed, set free, and restored as the Word of God is proclaimed and as the Spirit of God brings freedom. Likewise, her heart beats frantically for the Bride of Christ to awaken and have an undying passion and gut-wrenching hunger that will truly stir hearts to worship Him in reckless abandon!
Worship is so much more than singing songs. Worship is what is in our hearts, and what we worship is what consumes us. Oh, that Jesus
would be our worship!
As well as being an individual artist, Jamie also has teamed with other possible musicians/vocalists in leading special Nights of Worship (NOW). This is a unique evening focusing on intimate worship and ministry to both men and women alike.
Apart from Jamies worship ministry, she is also an independent voice and piano instructor of 12+ years. She averages approximately 20 students; ranging in all ages. She enjoys nurturing, mentoring and passing onto others the gift of music!
